Dr. David Schaefer is happy to create beautiful smiles for his patients in his home state.
Dr. Schaefer attended Young Harris College and the University of Georgia as an undergraduate and completed dental school at the Medical College of Georgia. He then entered the Army a second time as an Army Dental Corps officer, completing a one-year general dentistry residency at Fort Carson, Colorado. He was later selected to the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program at the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. He then
returned to serve as Professor, Chief of Orthodontics for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program.
Dr. Schaefer is a board-certified orthodontist as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction held only by a small percentage of orthodontists.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and giving back to his community.
