Dr. Andy Turner is a lifelong resident of Knoxville and opened an orthodontic practice in 2008 to fulfill his dream of helping people improve their smiles. Dr. Turner completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he received his undergraduate degree.
He then attended the University of Tennessee in Memphis where he earned his dental degree and completed orthodontic training. Dr. Turner stays on the cutting edge of orthodontics by maintaining memberships with the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists and the Second District Dental Society.
Outside of the office, Dr. Turner can be found perfecting his golf game or on the Tennessee River fishing or water-skiing with his family.
Edgmon earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Southern Adventist
University in Collegedale, Tennessee. A few years later, he went on to earn his
Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Master of Science in Orthodontics, and
Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda,
California. He is a proud member of several organizations including a lifetime
member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association,
American Association of Orthodontists. In his free time, Dr. Edgmon enjoys
spending time with his wife and daughters. He is an accomplished triathlete and
has competed in Ironman competitions. Dr. Edgmon believes every day is a great
day to improve the lives of our community.
Dr. Fender received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the Medical College of Georgia Dental School where he was Valedictorian and then completed his graduate orthodontic training at Vanderbilt University. Prior to college he was also Valedictorian his senior year of high school.
He has always strived to excel and be the best at whatever he set out to accomplish. Dr. Fender is involved in the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. Being actively engaged in these professional affiliations allows him to work closely with colleagues and peers so that he is able to provide his patients the most scientifically proven and tested methods of treatments. Dr. Fender is happily married to Hope and they have three wonderful boys, Austin, Andrew and Evan.
