Dr. Santos was born and raised in Los Angeles. He decided to leave Southern California after receiving a scholarship to attend the University of Notre Dame. Here he graduated magna cum laude and received his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences.
Immediately thereafter, he returned to his home state to attend the University Of California Los Angeles where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After four challenging years, he graduated with honors and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honors Society. Passionate to continue learning, he then committed to three additional years of residency to specialize in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Pittsburgh.
Outside of life as an orthodontist, you can find him cross-training at the gym or running around parks and hiking trails with his yellow lab named Jax. He enjoys staying active and places incredible value on healthy living.
Dr. Julio De La Fuente was born in Mexico City and moved to San Antonio at the beginning of high school. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from UTSA. Dr. De La Fuente always knew he wanted to be an orthodontist and applied to the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School while he was still a freshman in college.
He got accepted into the 3+4 program, a unique dual degree program that includes 3 years of college plus 4 years of dental school. During his time in dental school, he maintained good grades and was able to graduate at the top of his class. After dental school, he went to his first choice for orthodontic residency, the Orthodontic Residency program at UTHSCSA. Outside of the office, Dr. De La Fuente enjoys wakeboarding, mountain biking, rock climbing, and snowboarding.
Dr. Michael Dillingham has been practicing orthodontics in Austin since 1991.
He attended Rutgers University as an undergraduate and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He then earned his specialist certificate in orthodontics at the Oregon Health Sciences University.
Dr. Dillingham regularly attends orthodontic continuing education classes and stays on the cutting edge of orthodontics with training and equipment. He was also elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon and maintains active memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwest Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Austin Orthodontic Study Group.
Outside of the office, Dr. Dillingham is an active member of his church and was a leader in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America for more than 10 years alongside his wife. He also enjoys photography, woodworking, biking, reading, golf, and traveling.
Dr. Law played basketball in college before attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and later the Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics. Always advancing in his field, Dr. Law is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and multiple online professional study groups. He is also a frequent lecturer on clinical excellence and smile design. Changing lives through orthodontics and smiles are his passion! With a brood of eight kids, Dr. Law loves to stay busy doing “daddy-time” whether it’s hide-and-go-seek, board games, or working on jumpshots in the driveway. Outside of work, Dr. Law and his wife, Jessica, enjoy spending time with their family, playing sports, and dining out for sushi, hamburgers, or BBQ.
